INSTITUTE OF PHYSIOLOGY AND EXPERIMENTAL MEDICINE |
Short History of the Department
This department was started along with the Government General hospital in the British period. Initially the animal experiments had been done successfully and so many presentations had been performed by the senior professors. This department developed and was upgraded as Institute of physiology and experimental medicine. Professor Padmanabhan played a major role to develop this department into an Institute. Now, this institute has UG, PG, Paramedical, Diploma and various certificate courses. We are conducting various research activities and presenting papers in various state level and national level conferences to update the knowledge in the medical field.
